Whatever it is, make sure to give it a name and to take good care of it! 10] holiday Happy birthday/New Years/Christmas/Valentine's Day/whatever! It's a very special day that only comes once a year, so make it count! 11] argument Oh, no, who left the stove on... Or maybe it's about why they were out late last night? Either way, there is a lot of tension today, and one of you may or may not be sleeping on the couch tonight. 12] making up It's time to make amends for that fight/divorce/whatever you had before! Rolling back over he faced JJ with a rare smile that...didn't seem so rare when he was with the other. JJ made him smile, made him feel warm inside. It was nice. He loved JJ, loved his family, and loved the small family they were starting together. Yawning again Otabek stretched and reached out to pull the other to him. ]

He smiled settling there. He saw Otabek check and make sure that the receiver was on and ready. He wanted to be able to jump up and help if needed. They were both ready to handle anything that may happen when their baby was sleeping. Their baby. Sometimes, it didn't seem to be real to him.
He cuddled up. ]

As he felt his body get heavy with sleep he leaned forward to press a kiss to JJ's forehead. ]

Muttering in Kazakh he rubbed at his eyes as he slipped more into his native tongue as he moved to go to the kitchen. He could guess that if it wasn't for changing or something else, the crying was probably for food...so he might as well get that started while JJ dealt with the baby.
As he made his way into the kitchen he'd wake up more before he was awake and warming up a bottle of formula. He didn't like the idea but it wasn't like there was anyway for them to get breast milk. Yawning he went about heating it, testing it, heating a little more, testing, cooling it, and finally testing it before making his way back to the nursery. ]
How is he? Hungry?

Once in his room, he picked up the baby and held him to his chest. He didn't seem to need a diaper change. And even as JJ holds him, he is wailing. Small fists are trying go grasp at JJ's shirt. He holds him to his chest, fingers moving over the baby's back. He's bouncing and cooing at the boy when Otabek walks in. ]
Hungry.
[ He turns and walks towards Otabek as their son whimpers and cries and hiccups because he's worked himself up. ]

[ Otabek smiles at the sight before him, JJ holding their son...their son. It was still so weird to get used to, as much as he loved it.
Crossing the short distance he held out the bottle to JJ before running a hand over the baby's head, making a soothing sound before whispering comforting words in his own native tongue. Honestly it was more from being tired than anything else, that and they were words he had heard his mother say before, even seen other parents whisper to their children. It just seemed to be what to do in this situation. ]

JJ watches Otabek interacting with him - with so much affection. It's so nice to see the way they're interacting and bonding. He'd always wanted a family - since he was young. Now he had it.
He withdrew the bottle for a moment, so that the infant wouldn't gag or overdo it for himself. He whined. ]
He seems to like that.
[ JJ does too. After a moment, he lets their son return to eating. ]
He'll probably sleep easy for a little bit.
[ He already seemed half-asleep as he ate. ]

[ Otabek chuckled a bit, leaning forward to kiss the child's head before moving moving to kiss JJ on the cheek. He couldn't be happier than he was now. ]
It'll be nice when he starts sleeping through the night.

And then he'll be climbing in his dads' bed when he has nightmares.
[ He likes the way that sounds. At least that was what JJ did. Tilts his head a little leaning it into Otabek. He withdrawls the bottle, and the infant sighs. He reaches for a small towel, placing it on his shoulder, and holds him up to it. He gently moves his fingers over the baby's back so he'll hopefully burp then they can lay him back down.
There had been times when he had been afraid that what he had with Otabek wouldn't be permanent. That fear was gone. ]

He's like that for a while, just listening to JJ's breathing, his own breathing, and the sounds of their son. ]
Never gonna have a free night to ourselves for at least another....15 years?
[ There's another chuckle and it's easy to tell that he's not terribly upset about it. Sure he loves having all his time with JJ, but they had the start of a small family all their own now, how could he not love that? ]

[ He'll let him fall asleep in his arms before he sets him back into the crib. ]
We'll find time.
[ JJ would make sure, so that they'd always extra enjoy the time with their son. Their family. Their small family now, but one that he knew was just starting. ]

[ Don't have to tell JJ twice, because he is tired. He's prepared for this to be the next several months of his life, though. He's heard that once they get to a certain age, you should not get up and feed them, and just check and make sure that there's no other needs. But if his son wants food... he's not sure he'll be able to resist. ]
Sneak in another couple of hours of sleep.
[ He grabs Otabek's hand and slinks back towards their bedroom. ]
