[The human world was a big place, filled with many new sights and sounds. As such, weekly getaways to new staples of the human city were becoming a tradition, Frisk eagerly pulling out a map every Friday after school, pointing at a new location, and pouting until Toriel finally gave in.

This time, Frisk had corralled them all to go on a trip to Disneyland. Papyrus had immediately embraced this idea. When Mettaton complained that he'd have to find his own way over, since everyone was leaving before his latest dress rehearsal was over, Papyrus eagerly volunteered to pick Mettaton up and meet everyone at the entrance.

[ It had been quite a while in the making but after JJ had brought him the pamphlets and paperwork and everything they would ever need to learn about adopting. But finally they had brought home a perfectly healthy baby boy.

Otabek and JJ had both set up a room in their new house in Montreal for the baby. Crib, changing table, everything else was set up.

Now Otabek was just standing over the crib, watching as the baby slept. He was surprised at how easily he had fallen into the role of a parent. He didn't have siblings growing up and he hadn't been the type to be overly affectionate with his friends. Still, since he and JJ had settled down things had changed, and adding to their little family just felt right. Family was something that was important to both of them after all. Lost in his thoughts Otabek just leaned against the wall, looking down at the baby with a fond smile.

Honestly he knew he should probably try to get some sleep, seeing as who knew when the little one would wake up again. ]

[It would have been a million years before Lance ever defended Keith's name. Or so he thought. Yet, here he is, leaning against the kitchen counter with his arms crossed looking completely closed off, but it's more out of disbelief than throwing up walls. He knew James and Keith never got along; everybody knew that. They've only been at each other's throats since they were all pre-teens. But still, years have passed and things between Lance and Keith had matured into a mutual respecting friendship and after all Voltron has been through, he just couldn't stand there and let James pop off at the mouth about his teammate.

But at the same time, he didn't want to go to bed with this argument on his mind, still hanging in the air between him and James. He doesn't want to have to chose between his friend and his lover. He wants both in his life, for they're each an important part of it. But how can Lance tell James he can't be angry at someone who annoyed him for years?

That's something Lance will have to think about later, maybe when he's not making his way out of the kitchen to go find where James is. And to do what? Apologize? Demand an apology? Break up with James? One of those is a non-option.]
