[ Otabek only nodded before heading out to follow the other, he was quiet but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence...at least not for him.
Following the other to the cafe was easy enough, he had to admit to being glad for the fact that there didn't seem to be many around just yet. It seemed most of the other skaters were either already gone or sleeping off the party the previous night and as such none of the press was around to question them. Even the fans who had been staying at the hotel seemed to be sleeping in.
Such was the day after the finals though, or so Otabek guessed. He hadn't gone to them yet so he wouldn't know if this was normal. All the same he walked with JJ, catching up to walk side by side with the taller skater once he was able to.
When they were seated he glanced at the menu a bit before shrugging. Something light to eat with his coffee might be a good idea, after all he was already there, might as well get food as well. And if JJ had a problem he'd just pay for it himself. No problem at all. Though it was nice of him to at least offer the coffee after waking him up and passing out on him, literally, the night before. Who knew the self proclaimed "King" could actually turn out to not be so bad.
