[ Nodding to himself Ryuji went back to playing on his game before sighing and deciding to read the book he had the day before. It was something that kept his mind busy and was productive. Besides he didn't want to only play games so long. He felt like it could become a problem if he did.
It was like that, that he staid, reading and occasionally looking over at Rin to make sure everything was alright.
He was worried, for all that Rin was strong and could bounce back this was different. Even if he would physically heal, Ryuji wasn't sure how well the other would be mentally. The very people he wanted to protect had hurt him. It wasn't fair. It made him sick just thinking about the state they had found Rin in, how broken he had been. And now those nightmares. The life of an exorcist was bad enough...poor Rin would have to deal with this as well.
He wouldn't be alone though, that much Ryuji would be sure of. For as long as he could Ryuji would be there to stand up for Rin. It's what friends were for after all. ]
