The ceremony continued as it was supposed to, both exchanging rings before finally being told they could "share their fist kiss a married couple" instead of the 'man and wife' line that most had...seeing as neither of them were in fact a woman.
Of course the kiss that Yukio received could hardly be called a kiss. It was quick and soft, just a press of lips before they were gone. To some it might have seemed that Lucifer was the one who didn't want to kiss the other. Which was partially true, but for a different reason. While yes most of his rotted flesh has healed he still has some sense of self consciousness when it comes to being so close to others. His body had been rotting for so long that he still worried that it would offend the one person he seemed to want to keep close.
He wanted Yukio there because he did see the potential in the youngest son of Satan and he wanted to help him grow to meet it.
He just wasn't sure how to convince the other of that. ]
