[ JJ ends up stopping at a gift shop and finding a bear plush. A cute one with pronounced brows and a serious expression. It reminds him of Otabek. His fans always seem to give him bears, though. He wonders if he even keeps them. This could be a horrible mistake, but...he doesn't want to show up empty handed. So it takes him a little bit, but he shows up at Otabek's room, bear plush in hand, and prepared to get them dinner and a movie for the night.
It had been so long since he'd done this, it feels like, he has no idea what he's doing. ]
[ When he hears the knock on the door, Otabek is up from the bed and opening the door not long after. He smiles at the nervous look on JJ's face before moving to the side to wave the other in. ]
[ He steps in. JJ is mostly just glad he made it this far... because it's rather surprising he did. At least in his opinion. He had been nervous about this for ages. And here they were. He hesitates a moment, and then nudges the bear he had picked out towards Otabek. ]
He reminded me of you so...
[ He had to. ]
