[ The party had been set up by some of the other skaters, a nice little get together for the holidays. At least for those who made it to the Grand Prix Finals. It had been an interesting year that was for sure, but for now Otabek didn't want to think about the finals or the podium. Right now he just wanted to relax and enjoy the time he had with the people around him. He had spent most of the night standing with Yura, keeping the other a bit more relaxed and keeping him from almost attacking some of his least favorite people.
One of which of course including JJ.
Sure Yura had been a bit better with the guy since Otabek had made the announcement on Valentine's and so far everything between the two had been good. Better than good. There was of course some uproar from fans on both sides...even surprisingly Yura's fans had something to say about the couple. But other than that it was very good. And Yura was at least glad for his friends happiness, or at least that's what he had told Otabek.
So when JJ actually walked up again, it wasn't a surprise that Otabek reached out to subtly tug the other to stand next to him while Yura scoffed and puffed up but still seemed fine. Aside from the silently muttered 'Gross' over Otabek trying to be ubtle about holding his boyfriends hand. ]
